Upcoming local government elections

In the lead up to the local government elections planned for this year I have decided to contact my local councilors and find out what they stand for.

I approached this in my own way….I figure send the party structures an email requesting my councilors contact details. The ones that reply will get offered an opportunity to post election snippets on my blog.

Lets see if anyone gives a shit…..

I have received a response from the DA and am awaiting the local councilors answer. Nothing from the other parties.

Hope you’re not holding your breath in anticipation of answers from them all.

How about putting a list of links together to the party websites (or even their email addresses as well?!) for others to try do the same as you. Maybe if 100′s of us ask for info we might get a reaction?

Oh, and have you got any info from the IEC on voter registration weekends? I heard something about a weekend early in Feb for this, but haven’t seen any details about it anywhere.

raining or snowing i am going to vote. therefore i would to encourage everyone to go and vote, because through the vote that is when we can express your voice and to keep this democracy alive.
and to demolish Apartheid regime, racial prejudice, and poverty alleviation.
I as the Chairman of Khanyisa Back to School and project founder, That selves to educate youth and assist you bursaries especially grade 12′s. Now i and the executive committee we will be going to the schools by classes and encourage all youth to go and express their voice through secret ballot paper in the polling stations across the country.
